Role Description:
We are seeking an experienced Terraform AWS SME to join our team on a 3-month contract. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in AWS services, particularly with EC2, EBS, EKS, IAM, VPCs, Subnets, Routing, and Security Groups. Experience with Terraform and GitLab CI/Pipeline is essential, with the ability to write high-quality, reusable Terraform code and modules.
The role will involve the implementation and management of cloud infrastructure, specifically utilizing Terraform in combination with AWS services. Experience with Landing Zone Accelerator (LZA) and Kubernetes will be advantageous, along with knowledge of ArgoCD and Linux/Windows environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and deploy infrastructure using Terraform and AWS services.
- Write reusable, modular, and configuration-driven Terraform code.
- Configure and maintain AWS services including EC2, EBS, EKS, IAM, VPCs, Subnets, Routing, and Security Groups.
- Integrate Terraform into GitLab CI/Pipeline mechanisms for seamless deployment.
- Leverage Kubernetes to manage containerized applications in AWS.
- Collaborate with the wider team to ensure scalable, efficient, and secure infrastructure.
Key Skills & Experience Required:
- AWS expertise, with hands-on experience in EC2, EBS, EKS, IAM, VPCs, Subnets, Routing, and Security Groups.
- Advanced knowledge of Terraform, including the ability to write high-quality, reusable Terraform code.
- Proficiency in executing Terraform via GitLab CI/Pipeline.
- Strong background with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Landing Zone Accelerator (LZA) experience is highly desirable.
Additional Skills (Preferred):
- ArgoCD
- Linux/Windows experience.
