Our Partner is searching for looking for a Principal Engineer – Digital Workplace to take ownership of strategy, standards, processes, and engineering within the client and cloud workplace domain. You will play a key role in driving innovation, supporting pilot projects, and ensuring cost-effective, secure, and modern workplace solutions. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Your Responsibilities
- Define and implement the strategy, standards, and processes for client/cloud workplace services.
- Lead and support technology initiatives, proof of concepts (POCs), and pilot projects to evaluate new solutions.
- Ensure the adoption of modern, scalable, and cost-effective technologies in workplace services.
- Act as a technical expert and advisor, collaborating with teams to design and optimize workplace infrastructure.
- Work closely with security teams to ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
- Drive automation and optimization of workplace services, improving user experience and efficiency.
- Provide guidance and knowledge sharing to colleagues and stakeholders across the organization.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong experience in IT Infrastrucuture, cloud and workplace services.
- Deep knowledge of client/cloud workplace technologies.
- Experience in Citrix environments and related solutions.
- Familiarity with Cisco UCS Director.
- Knowledge of Virtual Desktop (VDI) and M365 components.
- Azure cloud knowledge is a plus
- Proven ability to design and implement scalable workplace solutions
- Language:
- German proficiency at B1/B2 level is required, with a willingness to improve
