Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end platform engineering for a mission-critical contact center system (Genesys)
- Collaborate across engineering, product, and business teams to drive measurable improvements in associate experience and customer satisfaction.
- Lead initiatives from ideation to implementation, including provisioning, automation, testing, and operational excellence.
- Influence architecture and design standards while simplifying complexity through smart solutions.
- Provide 24/7 stability and uptime to one of the most high-impact systems in the organization.
- 3–5 years of experience in voice/digital communication systems or contact center platforms.
- Strong technical leadership, team collaboration, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Deep knowledge of:
- VoIP, SIP, softphone software, and telephony protocols.
- Linux systems administration and troubleshooting.
- CI/CD pipelines (uDeploy, Ansible, Jenkins) and container tech (Docker).
- Protocols like HTTP, SIP, TLS, TCP/IP, SNMP, LDAP, RDP.
- Experience navigating enterprise-scale architecture with an eye toward high availability and continuity.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and DevSecOps practices.
