I'm partnered with a successful business who manage an outstanding portfolio of companies across the financial services space. They're currently looking for a new IT Director/Head of IT to lead the infrastructure and support teams across their group of companies.
This is going to take someone very comfortable working in extremely complex and rapidly changing environments. Over the next couple of years there's a huge list of projects to complete across cloud and datacentre migrations, upgrades and a whole host of other complex but very rewarding challenges. We're looking for somebody who is still really well connected to the day to day technical work, but is able to manage and lead at a very senior level. Someone with overall control of IT and Operations but can match the most technical people on the team from a knowledge perspective.
This will also need someone who can take these projects and run with them off their own initiative. The CTO has a huge workload and they're looking for someone to help share that.
Leading a team of 10 across multiple geographical locations to begin with, but that 10 will grow over time as they do have expansion plans, especially for Dublin.
Required Experience:
- Experience managing on-prem and cloud based infrastructure and applications
- Strong leadership skills managing teams both locally and remotely
- Still strong from a hands-on perspective in Microsoft based environments
- Expert in ITIL
- Experience leading an organisation from on-prem to the cloud
