React Developer (FinTech Client)
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 3 Months
Location / Remote Working: Fully Remote
Pay Rate: £400PD

React developers with TypeScript experience are sought to build a digital distribution platform that facilitates efficient electronic trading in the institutional FX options market. The platform will allow banks, hedge funds, corporates, and other institutions to electronically place, find, and match option interests. As the platform grows and scales, all participants will benefit from a single, central venue.

Responsibilities:
- Use consistent coding style and best practices, such as descriptive variable names, proper indentation, and comments.
- Write React components that consume data returned from the GraphQL backend.
- Participate in design discussions with your team to come up with the best solutions for the business.
- Use effective communication tools to stay in touch with your team members.
Skill Set:
- Proficient React using TypeScript
- Experience in GraphQL and Relay
- An understanding of working further down the stack and integrating with other services and components
- A good understanding of software development lifecycles, including testing, CI/CD, and deployment.
- Proficiency in CSS (Tailwind) and experience following designs (eg Figma)
- Experience using Jest and Playwright.
