Data Scientist – HIRING ASAP

Rate: £341 - £400 per day PAYE.
Interview Process: 1 stage, SQL test.
 
Summary:
 
Trying to prevent financial crime on the platforms (Child abuse, terrorist payments). Working on our clients’ ads product, messenger p2p, WhatsApp, creator products, oculus, payments on Instagram.

Skills:

• SQL
• Visualization – Google sheets, Google suites
• Risk and Fraud knowledge.
• Communication and collaboration skills
• 5-10 years’ experience max.
• Industry experience in Risk FI, Finance companies

Responsibilities:

• Work with other Data Scientists and Engineers
• 3 categories – Data foundations, Operational, strategic.
• Data foundations: building dashboards, setting pipelines.
• Engineering logs – create more structed tables out of them, make efficient querying.
• Operational – helping engineering teams with SEV – root cause analyst,
• Ad hoc queries – small opportunity sizing, prioritization.
• Strategic – where are the biggest opportunity in domains, gaps in their requirements, planning for the half, impact sizing for projects.
• g. - Helping them figure out are controls and compliance – can they help reduce harms on platform if they add a feature.
• Help the team coming up with dashboard for financial network, serve multiple different uses cases.
• Dev metrics to access the quality, create dashboards to present, track, monitor, add alerts.
