Principal Site Reliability Engineer
One of our long term Galway based clients in the financial services space is expanding and they're looking for a principal site reliability engineer to join the team.
They've been growing consistently in Galway over the last 12 months and are showing no signs of slowing down.
Their SRE group combines operations excellence with developer experience to deliver services at high scale and high availability using automation and Infrastructure Code. They build reliability into their ecosystem by applying best practices in Automation and observability.
This role requires someone highly experienced from a hands-on perspective but also someone comfortable with being a thought leader within the SRE department.

- Excellent Cloud experience primarily with AWS but Azure is useful too
- Strong hands-on Kubernetes experience
- OO programming experience in Java/C# etc
- Experience on Datadog/Prometheus/Splunk
- Good understanding on large scale distributed systems
