Job description

A Series A AI Start Up Hiring for a Full Stack Guru - Think decentralized, think blockchain, think bigger!

An AI startup that’s transforming the machine learning space by creating a decentralized compute network for training models. They’re revolutionizing AI infrastructure by using underutilized GPUs to offer scalable, cost-effective compute resources—disrupting the need for traditional cloud providers like AWS.

About the Role:
Full Stack Engineer (Front-End Focus). In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering end-to-end, consumer-facing applications, with a strong focus on creating intuitive front-end experiences using JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, and CSS. You’ll also have the opportunity to integrate with backend services using Node.js, Golang or Python, contributing to both front-end and back-end aspects of their decentralized platform.

Why This is Unique:
  • Autonomy & Ownership: You'll work in a flat, collaborative structure with no middle management, giving you full control over your projects from start to finish.
  • Cutting-Edge Tech: Be part of a team developing decentralized, blockchain-driven technology that democratizes access to machine learning compute power.
  • Start-Up Innovation: This company has raised over $50 million in funding, and the company is on a mission to disrupt the AI infrastructure landscape, providing a dynamic and fast-paced environment for talented engineers
This role focuses on building large-scale distributed systems. As a Principal Distributed Systems Software Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing robust backend systems using Rust (or C++, Golang, etc. if Rust experience is limited). The primary focus is on core software engineering, emphasizing computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and systems architecture.

Must Haves:
  • Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures and algorithms.
  • Production experience in shipping code.
  • Proficiency in at least one systems-level language (preferably Rust, but C++ experience is acceptable).
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems and systems architecture at scale.
  • Operating system knowledge, particularly Linux/macOS.
  • Familiarity with UNIX APIs and networking protocols.
  • Experience in high-growth startup or scale-up environments.
  • Understanding of metrics, spans, and traces for system performance monitoring.
Strong communication skills and self-motivation.

Location: 100% Remote in the U.S.
Compensation: Base + Equity in the form of tokens and as it is full-time W-2 - you will receive full benefits such as healthcare, dental, vision and 401k as well as multiple paid company retreats a year!
