Data Platform Engineer

I'm partnered with a successful financial services business who are currently expanding their Dublin based global technology team. They are looking to add a talented Data Platform Engineer to join their newly formed Data Governance team and help to drive forward a new data-centric culture.

Day to day elements of the role will focus around building data pipelines and infrastructure to help turn their raw data into valuable insights for the rest of the organisation. You'll also be enabling data-driven decisions by creating a scalable data platform and being a driving force behind collaboration across multiple teams, focusing on a DevOps mindset.

Technical requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or other relevant discipline
• 3+ years of hands on experience in data engineering or data platform engineering
• Strong experience in Azure or equivalent cloud environments
• Strong CI/CD pipeline experience (Azure DevOps ideally)
• Hands-on experience with Python or Scala
• Strong understanding of the SDLC and software best practices
• Experience with tools like Tableau or PowerBI
• Excellent communication skills and a passion for collaboration
