Cloud Database Engineer (Remote)

Really exciting new role for someone with a database background who's interested in progressing their skills in cloud engineering and automation.

The position is with a multinational online business with a Dublin HQ but you can be fully remote as long as you're based in Ireland.

They've gone through a bit of a transformation in the last few years and despite having a large MariaDB footprint they are looking to bring in more MongoDB and Cloud based tools. GCP experience would be preferred but if you come from an AWS background that's also fine.

If you're coming also from a DevOps/Automation background and have an interest in progressing your cloud skills whilst also specialising on the Database side, this would also be a great opportunity for you.

Required Tech Skills:

• Strong SQL or NoSQL database experience
• Experience with GCP or AWS cloud based environments
• Hands-on work with automation scripting and Terraform IAC
• Experience with MongoDB and CloudSQL would be massive advantages
