BI Developer

6 Month Contract

Hybrid Working: London, 1-2 days per week

Pay Rate: Up to £530 per day Inside

Trust in SODA is collaborating with a leading education company who are seeking an experienced BI Developer with strong expertise in data modeling, visualisation, and report development using Power BI and BOBI or Power BI and Tableau.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement data models using Power BI and Tableau.
• Configure and implement reporting platforms (cloud or on-premise).
• Lead workshops with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical designs.
• Ensure best practices in visualisation, delivering high-quality, insightful reports.
• Develop reports using Business Objects (version 4.3 or above) tailored for the higher education sector.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet organisational reporting needs.

Essential Skills and Experience:

• Data Modeling Expertise: Strong experience in creating data models using Power BI or Tableau.
• Reporting Platform Configuration: In-depth experience in implementing and configuring reporting platforms on-premises or in the cloud.
• Visualisation Expertise: Extensive knowledge of visualisation practices and principles using Power BI, Tableau, and Business Objects (BOBI).
• Stakeholder Engagement: Experience conducting workshops with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, then translating them into technical designs.

Candidates must demonstrate strong skills in the following combinations:

• Power BI & Business Objects (BOBI)
• OR
• Tableau & Power BI

Highly Desirable:

• Experience with report development using Business Objects (4.3 and above) in the higher education sector.
