Summary

Sensitive data is the most personal, intimate information our client has about their users: think religion, health, and sexual orientation information. How they collect and use this information is deeply important to their users and to regulators around the world. The team is responsible for defining, discovering, assessing, protecting, and governing sensitive data across the client.

The team is responsible for the ASSESS and GOVERN phases of our SDT execution lifecycle.

  • Privacy risk from mature strategic positions measurably trends towards zero and stays there.
  • New products are compliant-before-launch with all relevant regulations.
  • Robust safeguards and evidencing exist for all SDT privacy decisions.
  • SDT state-of-compliance is clearly communicated and easily understood by all internal stakeholders.
  • They do so by providing scalable and efficient technical solutions and ensuring end-to-end guidelines and processes are in place to meet our current strategic positions and ensure timely response for the future SD position expansions.

The candidate will be assigned to governance pod - making sure that when they have protection laws to protect sensitive data and prevent it from being misused that they are able to demonstrate it effectively to regulators that they are protecting them.

There is a delta between what the engineering team ships and what is ready to go to regulators to prove that it is working correctly and that can be Monitoring reliability, having an escalation process set up when things star to be unreliable. This team works on getting this ready.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against the regulatory ask that they have next year.
  • Dive into systems and understanding them, reach out and communicate with partner engineering teams and build that understanding to figure out where those gaps are currently and propose solutions and implement those solutions.
  • Code understanding than code writing collaborating with legal and policy to make sure that whatever evidence they are generating is sufficient, so they need to be a Effective communicator

Skills

  • 8+ years' experience
  • Someone who has worked in smaller companies, privacy context, integrity, and safety.
  • Hack OR Python OR PHP experience.
  • XFN collaboration skills
  • Effective communication skills
