Job description

Our client, a global consulting firm, is seeking a qualified SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant to join their team. This role is open exclusively to French nationals due to security clearance requirements. As part of this role, you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing SAP PP solutions, helping clients streamline their manufacturing processes. You will work closely with clients to gather requirements, configure the SAP PP module, and provide ongoing support to ensure the successful deployment and operation of SAP solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • SAP PP Implementation and Support:
    • Analyze clients' business processes related to production planning and identify areas for improvement.
    • Configure and customize the SAP PP module to meet specific business needs, including production planning, material requirements planning (MRP), capacity planning, and shop floor control.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules, such as MM (Materials Management), QM (Quality Management), and SD (Sales and Distribution).
    • Develop and deliver functional specifications, configuration documentation, and training materials for end users.
    • Support data migration, system testing, and go-live activities, ensuring a smooth transition to the new system.
    • Provide post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize processes to maximize system efficiency.
    • Stay updated on SAP technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance service delivery.
    • Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams, ensuring a clear understanding of project objectives, timelines, and deliverables.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in implementing and supporting the SAP PP module.
  • Deep understanding of SAP PP functionalities, including production planning, MRP, capacity planning, and shop floor control.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA and knowledge of SAP Fiori applications is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple priorities.
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships.
  • Must be a French national due to security clearance requirements for this role.
