Role: Moodle Developer (Grade 8)
Contract Duration: 10 months
Location: London (Hybrid: 1-2 days per week)
Day Rate: £360/day - £400/day

Key Responsibilities
As a Moodle Developer, you will:
- Develop and maintain the Moodle environment, including community plugins and client specific custom plugins.
- Work closely with Learning Technologists and Analysts in an Agile team to create new functionalities and implement user-driven solutions.
- Drive the clients transition to Moodle 4.5 by focusing on maintenance and backlog support.
- Collaborate with the Moodle open-source community, contributing plugins and fixes.
- Provide technical leadership on projects, ensuring Moodle developments meet coding standards and deliver optimal user experiences.
- Lead the development and maintenance of Moodle systems, collaborating with a team of Learning Technologists, UX Designers, and other developers.
- Ensure all code adheres to Moodle Coding Standards and is well-documented.
- Work in sprints, using Agile methodologies to deliver timely, effective solutions.
- Support release management through Source Code Management (Git) and Docker deployments into live environments.
- Transfer knowledge to the support team, ensuring smooth operations and continuous learning.
