IAM Business Analyst - Process Design & Application Onboarding
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 12 Month Contract
Location / Remote Working: Fully Remote
Pay Rate: 600 - 680 CHF Per Day
Summary
Trust in SODA is collaborating with a global pharmaceutical company who are seeking an accomplished Business Analyst to lead their process design and application onboarding efforts within their Identity and Access Management (IAM) projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in aligning IAM solutions with business requirements and enhancing user experiences through SailPoint IIQ.
Essentials
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field; master's degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in business analysis within IAM, specifically with SailPoint IIQ.
- Proficiency in process modeling and design, with a strong ability to translate requirements into functional IAM solutions.
- Demonstrable experience with UAT, training delivery, and user support.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
- Knowledge of current IAM technologies, trends, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, understanding the nuances of each deliverable.
- Conduct an in-depth analysis of current access control processes, user roles, and application integrations.
- Translate business needs into system features within SailPoint IIQ, ensuring compatibility and functionality.
- Assess and prioritize requirements, balancing business impact with project resources and constraints.
- Explain standard JML processes, access request and RBAC schema to application owners as an introduction to the application onboarding factory.
- Together with process & application owners gather the requirements for integrating applications & services with SailPoint
- As part of the application onboarding of each application, make an existing process and data quality analysis, supporting service & process owners to organize and optimize for their environments before integrating with SailPoint
- Model and design application specific processes such as access requests, approvals, recertification, and personnel movements.
- Create detailed workflow designs to be applied in SailPoint IIQ for automating and streamlining IAM processes.
- Develop user journey maps to enhance the overall experience and minimize user friction.
- Ensure the designs include definitions agreed with the test team to drive automated testing.
- Develop comprehensive training materials and conduct sessions to facilitate understanding and smooth transitions to new processes with QA and affected stakeholders.
- Ensure QA and the Testing team are introduced to process changes and new developments early in the requirements sign off and at key milestones during the implementation.
- Actively participate in UAT to confirm the alignment of new functionalities with user expectations and needs.
- Provide post-deployment support, resolving issues and concerns that users encounter.
- Maintain open communication with project managers and stakeholders to report on progress and address risks.
- Work closely with service owners, process owners and IT teams to ensure cohesive onboarding and process improvements.
- Document decisions, milestones, and project learnings for organizational knowledge and future reference.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies to recommend strategic enhancements to the IAM strategy.
- Review system performance reports and user feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Assist in change management efforts, supporting users in adopting new processes and tools through proactive engagement and support.
