Employee Relations and Policy Manager - HIRING ASAP

Duration: 3 Months
Location: Hybrid out of London office
Rate: £400-£434 per day inside ir35
Summary
You will manage the end-to-end employee relations casework for our client, ensuring that they act in the right way, both managing your own mid-to-complex cases and ensuring that they are managing risk appropriately.
You will also be responsible for supporting organizational change, where they aim to treat people with respect and deliver the right outcomes for the business.
You'll be able to tailor your approach working with both individual line managers and providing advice to their Director's and Executive team as needed with support from more senior colleagues as necessary.
Responsibilities
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including grievances and disciplinary cases or provides support to managers to undertake this activity.
- Provides consistent advice and guidance to HR Business Partners and managers on employee relations matters ensuring fair and consistent application of HR Policies.
- Takes the lead on key ER projects within the business.
- Develops HR Policy in line with best practice, ensuring the policy is rolled out appropriately.
- Manages the relationship with external legal counsel.
- Provides support and / or leads on organizational change, including TUPE, redundancy consultations and senior exits.
Skills:
- Strong experience in managing ER casework across a multi-site organization.
- Experience managing redundancy processes (small and large scale)
- Writing clear HR policy in line with legislative updates
- Willingness to manage cases, stepping into drive to a conclusion as needed.
- Strong drafting skills
- Strong employment legislation knowledge
- Strong coaching skills
