Trust in SODA has partnered with one of the most innovative Automotive Software companies and they are looking for an experienced Android Engineer to join their team! You'll be building software that will be installed in millions of vehicles worldwide across some of the most widely recognised global brands

The Role

• You will be part of developing cutting-edge infotainment software using the Android SDK.
• Engineering bespoke navigation functions, web-based radio functionality, and enablers for web services.
• You will own your code from the ground up designing architecture for services from scratch.
• Performance testing your applications in order to deliver the highest quality products.
• Work in cross-functional teams of Engineers and Product Managers who are experts in their fields.

Must Haves

• You use the latest Android SDK and are a master of Java or Kotlin (ideally both) and IntelliJ.
• You have experience with Bluetooth and other connectivity protocols.
• Have a fundamental understanding of HTTP/REST, MQTT, gRPC technologies and proven experience of implementing them in production.
• Understand Asynchronous and Reactive design concepts.

Bonus

• Embedded software experience is advantageous.
