Our very first (in-person) London Hackathon: Complete! On April 15th, the Trust in SODA squad had the pleasure of teaming up with Ex-Military Careers and the wonderful Code Institute for a hackathon to remember.
Following the incredible success of our Dublin hackathon, we opted to move the action to our London office this year, where focussed our coding efforts towards stamping out stigma in the Veterans’ mental health space.
A huge thank you to the team at Code Institute, and to everyone who set their alarms for a dreadful hour on Saturday morning and made their way to our Farringdon office – it was certainly worth it.
The coffee machine felt the strain as our 30+ developers went head-to-head to create an app to support veterans’ mental health. It was a joy to see such passion, collaboration, and talent on display for a full 12 hours!

The power of in-person collaboration in a tech world that can be so lonely was a sight to behold! We can’t wait to host another one.
