Senior UX Designer

Apply for this position

An opportunity is vacant for a senior UX Designer to join an award winning agency. The individual is required to have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience.

Requirements:

  • An agency background is a nice to have, but not essential
  • We’re looking for someone who can span both UX Design and UX research. Not a pure designer, nor a pure researcher. As things stand, we’d probably lean more towards the research side, as that looks to get us better thinkers, but we’re open on that front.
  • Experience of communications design, particularly when it comes to email, would be a bonus.
  • We are not looking for a visual designer, so anyone focused heavily at that end of the spectrum is probably not quite right. I’d expect to see wireframes, not illustrator-esque final looking designs in their portfolio
  • Evidence of conducting or being actively involved in UX research (just attending research sessions is not really enough)
  • Any experience of customer journey mapping would be superb
  • A psychology background or HCI qualification would also be desirable.
  • Given these requirements we could go up to £70K for the role.
