Job Title: Engineering Manager - Turbine

Location: Heysham- (4 Days a week onsite)

Salary: Up to £71,783.

Start: ASAP

My client is a world leader in the energy sector. They are looking for an Engineering Manager with experience working with large turbines, generators, and their associated generation equipment to lead a small Engineering team to support the fleet's turbine and generator assets, as well as their auxiliary systems.

In order to hit the ground running they are looking to hire an Engineering Manager to spearhead the project with good knowledge of:

• Providing specialist technical support.
• Leadership of the Engineering team.
• Checking and supporting the work of the Engineering team.
• The ability to carry out basic calculations to support decisions.
• The ability to review and check drawings.
• Provide fault diagnosis and solutions to the turbine and generator and other plant equipment.
• Assessing plant conditions, proposing future operational strategies, and recommending the engineering program of work for station outages and maintenance.
