Corporate Social Innovation

At SODA we are wholly committed to the pursuit of ensuring diversity & inclusion and it is paramount in everything we do. SODA are members of the Corporate Covenant:

This covers the 2 key principles which are:

- No member of the armed forces community should face disadvantage in the provision of public and commercial services compared to any other citizen

- In some circumstances special treatment may be appropriate, especially for the injured or bereaved

At SODA we have not just contributed we have created the social enterprise Ex-Military Careers, offering employment and training courses helping to bridge the gap from the military to civvy street. Profits raised from Ex-Military Careers and SODA are given to the Ex-Military Foundation which provides CV tips, advise and a mentoring scheme, every qualified employee of SODA is a mentor.

Featured in November 2014 by HR Director Magazine, the Ex-Military Foundation which is a registered charity founded by SODA it partners with Walking with the Wounded, Peter Jones Foundation and the Royal British Legion to sign post welfare and rehabilitation in addition to providing it's own assistance with employment and training courses. On the 17th November 2014 we were invited to attend a drinks reception at Buckingham Palace to thank us for our contribution to the welfare and support of those leaving the armed services.

Now the company is growing at such a fast pace, we think our charitable acts should reflect this and we plan to expand the events we join throughout the year via SODA SOCIAL. SODA employees are encouraged to contribute personally to charities such as Kids Company and Christian Aid.
